Stashed Music continues to unearth hidden gems from up-and-coming producers with its latest offering, a dark, rolling three-track house EP from London producer Sankuh.
Obsessed with music from a young age, music has rapidly become Sankuh’s life. At 14 he had a weekly slot on a local radio station and a few years later discovered his passion for production, with his first EP landing on MFR Records back in 2014.
Since then Sankuh he has gone from strength to strength, signing tracks with labels such as Great Stuff, Freakin 303, Audiophile and more.
Known for his hypnotic vocal samples and deep, groove-bass lines, Sankuh is one to watch, and Run EP is arguably his greatest achievement to date.
All three tracks are heavy-duty house rollers: understated club-ready cuts that hit you right in the stomach. To be fully appreciated, these need to be experienced on a soundsystem that can handle their powerful low-end, and there’s little doubt that they’ll soon be heard on house dancefloors around the world.
