Vincenzo D’Amico arrives on the label for full release debut and we enlist Defected regular Dario D’Attis & Paradise stalwart Russ Yallop on remix duties.
Opening track ‘Dance Floor” does everything its title suggests and brings Vincenzo’s trademark sounds straight to the floor with its burning baseline lead , percussive drops & 90’s sounding rises. Lina’s super smooth vocal delivery gives the track an uplifting edge
On the remix, we welcome back Dario D’Attis who while keeping the feel of the original warps out the lead with an organ-based riser and cleverly placed breaks and drops while staggering vocal chops around the main hooks.
The B side has a more proper house vibe with a real feel-good factor delivered via the warm pads and grooving baseline all neatly wrapped around a straight-up vocal with vivid percussion precision.
Closing the EP we have Paradise legend Russ Yallop who takes things on a deep journey into the senses with his super slick mesmerising production skills. Here Russ gives the track a very airy vibe with sun-soaked Balearic rhythms bouncing around the vocal with distinctive ease. A perfect prelude into the summer season.
