First up, Kevin McKay delivers his own take on Sam Dexter & Elliotte Williams-N’Dure’s “Real Love”, giving this killer house song a more driving feel.
Odyssey Inc. have been one of our favourite new discoveries and their no-nonsense good-time house has seen their tracks regularly top the charts in the last year. On “Feel People Screamin'” they team up with Hyslop, one of our favourite Glaswegian DJs for a high-octane party jam.
Ape Rebellion are two well travelled producers who have released on A-list labels like Saved, Knee Deep In Sound, Snatch!, Defected. At the moment, they would rather let the music do the talking but you can take it from that list that this driving, tech-edged house jam is well worth exploring. And if you need a bit more than that, imagine a peak-time DJ Duke jam from the 90s with a Karizma-esque vocal warped into 2020 so that it is perfect for the sets of Nic Fanciulli, Roger Sanchez or David Penn.
