After an intense summer season Great Stuff is slowly but steadily gravitating back to the clubs and away from the festival dancefloors. We got the perfect transition EP therefor and it comes from Egypt born Ayman Awad – it is called “Africanos EP”.
Ayman lives in Austria and has been active in the Austrian dance music scene for over a decade, he is also one of the three finalists of BURN Residency 2016, and performed at world renowned clubs CafĂ© Mambo’s, Sankey’s and Privilege. During the competition, he was mentored by the likes of Carl Cox, Dubfire and Uner, and was given a weekly radio slot on Ibiza’s very own Ibiza Sonica station.
His fresh four-tracker consists of infectious and reliable house and tech house grooves. From the intense sweeping filters and tribal vibes of “Africanos” to the more playful, vocal drenched “Why” composition, Ayman covers all angles of what current dance music should sound like. In between those tracks are “Got You” and “Raw” both more dark and mischievous, with grittier sounding low frequencies. The whole thing is sure to make nightclubs go wild.
