Hybrasil was born less than 12 months ago in an unknown location somewhere off the coast of Ireland, but for a live act who just celebrated his first birthday, Hybrasil has been busy. Last summer saw him perform a series of live shows on the legendary Space Terrace, alongside acts such as techno-midwife Juan Atkins and Visionquest’s Ryan Crossan & Lee Curtis, as well as live performances with Sven Vath on his world tour, and at Jeff Mill’s sold-out orchestra show in Dublins’s Bord Gais theatre last October, there has been no time for Hybrasil to learn to walk or talk in his first year on earth.
