First up on the latest Red Lunar Records release is the title track of label boss Jacky’s new EP, ‘Blast’. This original track immediately reinforces the incredible talent that is Jacky, as a DJ / producer. ‘Blast’ has a big room feel to it from start to finish, through a clever combination of strong basslines, powerful beats and an exciting top line of synths. The energetic ascending phases are skilfully climaxed by the Geordie label boss, who effortlessly retains the overall exciting feel of this track throughout. Rounding off the release is energetic b-side ‘Your Love’ – another Jacky original. The track brings further testament to Jacky’s production skills.
