The second release on the Sinners label is another essential one. It comes from Abe and packs a real punch across two hugely dramatic techno tracks. Seven Seals is first and is a slow burner with precision percussion dangling over rumbling bass. A poignant synth progression builds the tension up top and after a suspenseful breakdown it drops into a marching groove that will have the floor locked. On the flip, Sail is a busier and more turbulent track with alarm like synth sounds, glassy textured and rubber kicks that drive the thing along. Itâs a robust groove filled with sombre moods and dark energy that really sucks you in over the course of its seven minute length. This is another standout EP that will add real drama to any DJ set.
