LClub Music is a brand new label that kicks off with a fine statement of intent. It is a tasty two track EP that features one tune from Affani and one from him in collaboration with Chosen Foreigner.
Affani is based in Ibiza and over the last decade has released on essential labels like Nervous, Stereo, InHouse, Bush, Deeperfect. He gets support from the likes of Carl Cox and Loco Dice and here works with fellow Barcelona based artist Chosen foreigner who is an artist in her own right.
Up first, Chido is a driving tech tune with tinkling percussive sounds and big hits all tied to a bouncy and elastic groove. Some edgy synth riffs repeat over the groove and holy hypnotise you. Super E on the flip is more trippy and silky, with sinewy synths ripping away over a deft drum line. It’s a deep and late night tune to really get under your skin and closes out a brilliant EP.
