Starting the EP is “Voyager”. An upbeat tech-house groover that packs a serious punch. A heavy kick teamed with a growling bass riff form a deep and dark foundation. Tastefully placed percussive elements engage with smooth synths and effects, building mounds of tension. The tension is shattered with booming drops that get the crowd grooving and moving. This one is a guaranteed peak-time and after hours weapon.
“Secret Bass” comes in next with its heavy swung groove, and punchy drums laying the groundwork for the enigmatic melody line. The keynote melody intrudes and takes charge, given plenty of support from the accompanying percussive and synth elements. The track develops into a peak-time slammer that just pushes more and more energy with every break.
Taking a turn for the darker side, is a the bass driven remix from Jey Kurmis. This ultra-heavy roller is bursting at the seams with a dark, and evil bassline, that echoes throughout. The notable melody of the original is twisted and warped, emphasising the dark and heavy attitude packed in this remix. This one is a late-night stomper waiting to devour the crowd.
Closing the EP is an upbeat rolling remix by Knober & Sylter. Blending the signature styles of a well rounded tech-house slammer, the track is placed perfectly to add a boost of power at any time.
