Celebrating the milestone of 50 releases on MOOD Records, label boss Nicole Moudaber has put together this special mix from the MOOD catalogue alongside releasing a remix pack for her collaboration with Carl Cox.
‘See You Next Tuesday’, the collaboration from Moudaber and Cox originally released in 2014, will now be given new life in the form of remixes by Danny Tenaglia, Solardo, Truncate, Black Asteroid, Raxon and Trunkline. As one of the most popular releases on MOOD, it’s an ideal time to reimagine the material.
Following the ‘See You Next Tuesday’ remixes, ‘Mood50: The Best of Mood’ will be released with 17 tracks mixed and compiled by Moudaber herself. The compilation features label favorites Pan-Pot, Victor Calderone, Scuba, Gregor Tresher and more.
Moudaber expressed her thoughts on having her esteemed label reach the 50 release milestone in just five years:
“It’s been a labor of love and looking back at our 50 releases I feel an immense amount of pride and joy that all the releases can stand the test of time. It’s a great platform and creative outlet for me — if the music is good, then it needs to be heard. If I’m playing it during my sets or on my radio show, then I would release it. I’m excited to share what we have in store from both industry veterans and undiscovered new talent making an impact on the dancefloor where it counts.”
