For Feedasoul’s first VA, we decided to put our spin on the legendary acid house sound. By eliminating and/or replacing aggressive tribal drums, squelchy one-shots and space-dub echoed vocals with elements of jazz, soul, funk and hip-hop, the VA was thus created by those key elements. By doing so, a diverse compilation of 9 tracks each highlighting a different perspective while maintaining the essence of the genre defining Synth (“303” emulations), Souls On Acid comes to life.
