Some seven years after first showcasing their take on tech-house and deep house, the PopArt label has finally notched up a half-century of releases. To celebrate, they’ve put together this action-packed “best of” featuring some of the imprint’s standout moments. You’ll find an ear-pleasing, floor-focused selection of tracks throughout, with highlights including the languid, sun-kissed disco-house roll of Pump Fiction’s “Lay-D Fiction”, the Quantic Soul Orchestra-sampling tech-house chug of Paolo Mojo’s “Give It All Away”, the Hot Creations style goodness of Re Dupre’s “Slammin’ N’ Thang” and the hip-house-goes-tech-house throb of Nytron’s “Fusion”.
