Motek’s first release of the summer comes all the way from Bangkok with South African born Kuroten. He has delivered a track full of luscious soundscapes that truly create a vision of ‘Talking In Technicolour’. Acid notes line the track that sit on a selection of ebb and flow pads pulsing whilst slowly growing and opening up as the track progresses. The track is finished with a spoken word vocal that ties the production together. Remixing on this release we are excited to bring a wealth of talent in the form of Jonny Cruz, Marcus Sur and Octave. Jonny has kept a similar broken beat base and flavour of the original specifically through pad elements moving in and out in the background. The Cruz touch comes through a sharper raw feel driven through the bass line and edgy monotone synth lead. This creates a darker production with a feeling of mystery. Marcus has brought his signature punchy production driven through the syncopation between bass and kick. A variety of percussive hits dance around the arrangement helping create this hypnotic take. Finally Octave has created a much faster feel to this remix. Generated by a quick moving 16th note acid synth and bouncy bass line this really is an in your face speaker buzzing track.
