Nastia Reigel – Identity – Infrastructure New York
Berlin musician and DJ Nastia Reigel presents her debut solo album, Identity, on Functions legendary Infrastructure New York imprint. Following a constant output of EPs on heavy-hitting techno labels like fabric, Rdhads WSNWG and Token, and playing regularly at the likes of Berghain, Reigel now returns with new music that pushes deep into the core of her craft. She has honed and sharpened her sound into something sleeker and more uninhibited. She channels the classic roots of techno, yet hits a deeper emotional resonance, embedding her personal feelings and experiences within the sound. Identity is a crystallization of my sound both as a producer and as a DJ, she elaborates. Created with the dancefloor in mind, these tracks carry the weight of sonic influences Ive absorbed over time, yet come together into something personal a reflection of how I hear techno, how I approach production, and what DJing means to me.
